When you’re deciding where to stay in Blackpool, you’ll be amazed at the wide range of choices available. This is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the UK even though it is situated on the North Coast of England. It’s hard to believe but Blackpool is home to over two thousand five hundred hotels, guest houses, bed and breakfasts plus self catering establishments, so you’re spoiled for choice.

The kind of accommodation that is available ranges from the inexpensive B&B’s, which in many cases are family run. Right the way up to the luxury hotels that have a whole host of modern facitlities for guests to use. So no matter what your budget is you will find the kind of accommodation that can easily accommodate it.

That said, if you’re only thinking about visiting Blackpool for the weekend then why not splash out a bit more by booking into one of the many luxurious hotels in the town. If you want to just relax and chill out then this is the perfect way to do it.

The Imperial Hotel can be found on the up-market North Promenade and is close to nearly all the town’s most popular tourist attractions. Along with 173 en-suite rooms, the hotel also has 10 suites as well. The hotel has a health and leisure club so you can have a leisurely swim in the pool or work out in the gym if you want to.

Another hotel, which is proving popular with couples who are visiting Blackpool for a weekend, is the Hilton Blackpool. Like the Imperial, this 4 star establishment is located on the North Promenade and you can choose from a variety of room styles for your stay. There are the standard rooms, along with family and clubrooms, but if you want something a little extra special then book one of the hotels suites. These can be found at the front of the hotel so that you will have views of the sea front from your room.

Further, along on Queens Promenade you will find the Savoy Hotel which is an elegant building with 130 rooms inside. All the rooms are en-suite and are nicely decorated. As well as the normal bedrooms, you would expect to find in such a hotel they also have a number of suites and family rooms available as well. Plus a real added bonus to this hotel is the restaurant Gilbert’s Bistro where you can enjoy some really great food.

Above we have looked at a few of the hotels in Blackpool. If you’re visiting Blackpool for a weekend away with your partner. However, if you intend to stay for any longer than a couple of nights you would be much better off booking into one of Blackpool’s many guest houses, B&B’s or self-catering apartments instead.
